Travelling in a bag!!!

This dream was amazingly clear and went on and on like a mega serial... Read on!

The four of us, my parents, husband and me are planning for a trip somewhere in India. We are going by train. My parents can’t come because their passports have expired (!) We decide to go anyway and my parents hide inside our bags!!!! We set out to the railway station. On the way we meet an aunt of mine who is in a very bad mood.

“Why do you have such huge bags?”

“Oh, we started packing and ended up packing just about everything!! We believe in travelling heavy!”

“Ok, keep this chain inside your bag. I don’t want to carry it around.”

So saying she opens one of the bags and sees my mom!!!

“What the..!!"

We smile sheepishly. And we get told off.

We finally catch the train. My parents get out of the bags and are happily enjoying the view outside.

But then the TTR makes his appearance. I am scared stiff.

“What are we going to do now??”

“Oh it is OK. We can just give them some money and they won’t say anything” my father says.

So when the TTR comes, my husband gives him money- just enough for the three of us. But not for my mother.

“Oh my! I am in trouble! I am in trouble!” my mother exclaims.

"Come fast! Here is a suspicious woman in this bogie.” The TTR shouts into his walkie talkie.

And they come. Men and women in white uniforms march towards us as if they meant doom. As we wait for the climax…

“Oh don’t worry. Give us some money and we won’t do anything!”

So we give them money. And we travel happily to our destination….

The End…

I failed...yet again..

How many times am I going to see this dream (nightmare rather) again???

Well..Here is what I saw a few days back...

I am studying for my Math examination. I go through the various formulas and stuff and I am very confident, maybe a little overconfident. So I really do not bother to read through it thoroughly.

I attend the examination the next day. There is only one question and it carries 100 marks. I start writing confidently, and soon realise that I can’t remember the formula well. Meanwhile, my classmates are trying to copy from my answer sheet! And I scold them all!

Anyway after the exam I go home. On my way, I meet a friend of mine and I ask her how she did at the exam. She says “Oh the exam was very easy. The formula was 0.893x10-3/12a, right?”

I stand there dumbfounded as I had forgotten the 12. In short I had failed!

So I tell my mother “Mom, I am going to fail the exam. Please don’t scold me, I will try next time!”

And there ends my nightmare..:-(

Jumps, Floods and Blasts

Oh goodie!! I got to see another dream yesterday :-) This is what happened...

I am in a friend’s house. She is kind of annoyed with me because I had not called her for some time. So she does not give me a warm welcome or anything...Then after sometime:

Friend: “Why is your hair so messy?”
Me: “.....”
Friend: “Why don’t you colour it??”
Me: “Fine. Come with me to the beauty parlour then.”
After that we set out (probably to the beauty parlour, but I do not remember reaching there). Once I get out of the house, I see a big problem staring at me....

You see, the house is actually in the middle of a pond, and, one has to jump a few feet to get to the other side (clearly not my cup of tea)!! Ahem, first of all I do not know how to swim. So I am not very sure whether I will make it, or drown! (How the hell did I get IN to the house????) My friend now, has landed on the other side gracefully like a cat and is beckoning me to make my move...

And so I jump......and I make it (maybe because I was thinking hard not to fall down:-D)! Phew!!

After that I do not know what happened, but I find myself in the house again and my friend is not with me. And then, I hear a sound from inside.

The sound of water flowing....

When I go inside the room to check, I see lots and lots of wires and from somewhere water is leaking!! Already the water has reached up to my knees!! Panic attack!!!!
I get a feeling that all these wires are going to be trouble and run outside at full speed!!!!

Boooooooooooom!!! There is a huge blast, and the house does not actually go to pieces, but kind of skids and comes to a halt in front of me! And I think "What am I going to tell my friend now???"

Thankfully it was all in a dream:-)

The Invisible Thugs

Another one of my crazy dreams:-)

Four or five guys are being followed. Whether they are good or bad, I have no idea. They are in a car and going at top speed. Then suddenly they come across a garage or something. They speed inside and pull down the shutter. Then comes the interesting part!

One of the guys has an impressive power- to make anything invisible, including himself. Hmm... starting to sound like an X-men movie, huh?? Anyways, he makes all of them invisible. Another guy suddenly appears and drives away in the car. (Maybe for a false trail??)

And so they wait.

Soon the pursuers make their entry. They know that they are hiding inside and that they are invisible. So they start searching (like trying to walk in a dark room with arms stretched out). Now I feel that I am one of those invisible and that someone is just close enough to catch me!! So frightening!

And I wake up:-) End of story! Interesting?? :-)

The Part-time maid affair

I have been thinking of getting a maid, seeing the sorry state of our home- thanks to our busy schedules (and laziness:-D). I had a dream a few days back about the same.

It went like this:

My parents come to our house. It is in a state of disarray and my father tells me: “Your house is full of WORMS! (yuck!) What have you been doing??” “I have never seen any worms around here” I exclaim. Then my mum says “It is time to get a maid. This won’t do.”
So we set out in search of a maid. And we finds one, somewhere. She is wearing large spectacles and is serving food to someone. Then in the background, somebody says: “She seems to be fine” But somehow I am not convinced.

And that’s it. Such a boring dream, not even worth recording...Anyways, one day I might read this again and think of the days when I worried about part-time maids!!

P.S.- Our house has not been infected by worms, yet!!

A vampire story!

How will you categorize this dream? Weird? Funny? Horrible? Scary? For me it is perhaps the weirdest and in some ways the funniest dream I ever had (till date).

The setting: a huge castle with velvety darkness shrouding every nook and corner (Imagining a Dracula castle will do). An owl is hooting, wolves are howling (hmm I made that up :-D). I am inside the castle with some friends.

Suddenly something bites me! What is it?? Well, er..a dog! What happens next is, I get affected by rabies?? Nope, I develop symptoms of a vampire!!(??) Since I am turning into a full-fledged vampire, I would obviously need some blood soon. That means my friends will be in danger. So I ask them to keep away from me and lock myself up in a room.

Then some villains come to attack us. Their intention is simply to kill us. One of the guys gets inside the same room I am hiding, to get some weapons (the room in question is loaded with weaponry). As I am just a new-born vampire, I am not absolutely sure what to do. But then the guy spots me and tries to shoot me.

And that does it! My vampire reflexes come into play and what follows is something like an action packed scene from a movie! And of course, Flawless Victory for me! (I did not drink his blood or anything! Thank God!! :-/

And then... I officially become a vampire...

I should not have read Twilight before going to bed. Can't imagine what I would have done if the dream/nightmare continued. Fortunately, I woke up before doing more damage!

Death..

This was a weird dream which I had in my college days.
My cousin and I are going somewhere. Suddenly someone tells us that a college student has died. So we set forth to this person’s house. What I see there is, a distant relative of mine is crying over the dead body, and not the student’s relatives.
The next morning I got the shocking news that a student actually died in our college!! A few days later this distant relative’s father died!! How weird is that??
